TDMG is always on the look out for more motivated individuals to join our team. Weather you have experience inside or outside the newsroom we are more than happy to consider one of your applications for some of the roles listed down below
News Anchor/Host
Responsible for hosting and presenting their own show OR the existing bi-weekly news series under the TDMG brand, scripting and preparing for each show, engaging with the audience, and ensuring the smooth execution of each production.
They will also work with other team members to align on content and schedule, and achieve the overall goal of the production.
Writer
In conjunction with the news anchor/host, the writer is responsible for researching, scripting and verifying sources and works with both the talent and editor to ensure high quality content.
Camera Operator/Visual Technician
Responsible for capturing quality content, ensuring footage remains in focus, recorded at the right settings and along with the director ensuring the right angles and shots are taken on location
Boom Operator/Audio Technician
Audio Technician controlling mixing consoles, ensuring proper mic placement, operating booms and ensuring overall high audio captured.
Ideally we are looking for experienced operators, or current students training in this role.
Video Editor
the FE is responsible for editing the various works submitted by the team in the post production stage. This includes audio, video, animations and b-roll/stock. The FE must communicate with the editor, EIC and general manager to ensure quality in our content.
To be considered for the role of FE, you must have experience in utilizing DAWs, NLE (Non-Linear Editors). Experience in Davinci Resolve, Pro Tools and/or Première Pro is highly desirable
